Golf
I know Janette already blogged about this, but I’m going to also. Oh, and I haven’t read her entry yet.
We went golfing yesterday with Janette’s parents. This was only the second time I’ve ever golfed (not counting driving range), and the first time in over a year that I’ve swung a golf club. On the whole, I did fairly well, and had fun. I think Janette did better than me, tho.
The general breakdown for me is that I can hit short irons really well (I landed almost every short iron on the green), long irons decently (they go straight, but I can’t consistently get them up), and drives/woods go consistantly right, both aim right and slice. So, getting near the green is a problem, but getting on the green is easy. My putting was decent, but not great. I tended to end up short. I even got a par! On the whole, lots of fun.
On a side note, Janette is an amazing driver. Straight and long every time. I’m so jealous.
