Full again

<sigh> My disk is full *again*. It seems like every time I turn around, I’m out of space. Who’d have thought, just a year ago, that 120G wouldn’t be close to enough?
I’d like to get a bigger hard drive, but it’s a laptop, so thats slightly complicated. Maybe I can get an external firewire drive.
Time to go scan my drive again to figure out what I can delete…
They do make >=160GB laptop drives…my Thinkpad has one. They are ridiculously expensive, though. Seems that typical prices for laptop HDs are at least twice of their desktop counterparts, and that’s for a drive of equal or smaller (usually smaller) capacity.
I suppose you could switch to reiserfs and enable tail-packing, or something. That’d save some space.
Newegg has 320G hard drives, so I can double my space. However, depending on price, I’d probably go with 250G.
As for reiser, no thanks. I have a dual core.
Hey, nothing better than a totally irrevelant comment on your blog, right? Just wanted to say, “Hi” and find out how life is going.

Err… and more on topic: my hard drive died on my gaming machine. Now I’ve got no game.
Simple solution: stop turning around. Duh.
