Wow
That was amazing! Definitely one of the best Buffys of all time. Much to my surprise, hardly anyone was killed off. Anya died, which everyone has known was going to happen for a long, long time. Also, they killed off Spike, which was kind of expected, too. He got to be the really cool conduit for blowing all of Sunnydale into a big crater. It was pretty cool. And I have a hard time being horribly sad about it when they’re just going to resurrect him on Angel. It does make me wonder if he’ll be a vampire or a human or what, though… Unfortunately, I can’t find out until the fall. There were a bunch of great moments in the episode: Giles playing D&D with Xander, Andrew, and Amanda, the comment at the end about there being a hellmouth in Cleveland (tie in with the Wishverse!), and Willow after completing her spell. She turned every potential in the entire world into a Slayer! (I feel proud of myself for figuring out that they were going to do that as soon as The First made a point of Buffy being “alone”.) Anyway, it was a great episode and a great ending. Bye, Buffy. You sure went out with a bang.
