Camera at Last
Well, I finally have my camera, and it’s very cute and very cool.
It took a bit of doing to get it, though. Apparently Best Buy and Comp USA don’t carry this camera anymore. It’s been replaced by the newer and more expensive s230 (mine is an s200.) Circuit City still had this kind, though, and it was cheaper than I expected, too. So it wasn’t too bad. I’m going to have to get a bigger memory card at some point. This one can hold about 14 or 15 pictures at the highest resolution. I also need a case for it so that I can carry it around without scratching the LCD screen. Right now I’m using the bubble wrap it came in to protect it. Oh, and speaking of bubble wrap, my set of Buffy toys arrived today, wrapped in tons of bubble wrap. The Giles and Oz figures were better than I expected and came with neat accessories, and I now have the extra Buffy necessary to make my custom Buffy. Here’s a picture of my Buffy toys, taken with the new camera. Xander is missing because I’m not done repainting him.
Now, I’ve ordered a camera from another place that says they have it for $215, but they were supposed to tell me when the camera was shipped, but so far they haven’t told me anything.
If this place turns out to be a scam too (which would be really, really annoying because we’d have to call American Express and tell them not to pay the money) then I’m just going to give up and go buy my camera from the store even though it costs more.
