Well, that was an exciting start to the Red Wings season. They started off well, getting a powerplay goal in the first period. But then the Kings came back, scoring two kind of strange goals to take the lead with only 4 minutes or so left in the game. However, Datsyuk scored a goal on another powerplay (yay!) to tie the game. I wasn’t paying a whole lot of attention after that, assuming it would go to overtime (and also distracted by the food I was making), and so I completely missed Yzerman winning the game with only 1.7 seconds left. Good thing there’s instant replay. Anyway, it was pretty cool and a good way to start the season.
