I was just reading this thing online by these crazy people who think Halloween is evil and want their poor kids to be scarred for life by having to pass out religious pamphlets instead of going trick-or-treating. Anyway, it was rather silly. This was my favorite line: “The celebration has its roots with ancient Druids, high priests of the Celtic religion who practiced ritual human sacrifice. It evolved through cultures and centuries, but remains a high holy day focused on supernatural evil and slaughter.” Talk about over-reacting! Guess those people wouldn’t like my pumpkins and witch lights and giant skeleton. (Or this little devil smiley.)
