Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! It is now the year of the monkey, apparently. I was born in the year of the snake, as I know from the placemats at Chinese restaurants. And actually I only knew that it was Chinese New Year because of Google, because they have a funny picture today.
… than “the world’s largest flower, a three foot-wide bloom that smells like rotting flesh”. I’m not making it up, honestly. It’s being researched by some professor at Michigan State (big surprise there) and there’s this article about it here at the discovery channel website. Anyway, I just thought it was a very strange but interesting article and rather funny. Also I hadn’t blogged in ages. (Sorry!)
